Digital Photography is tricky for beginners, hands-down. There’s so many things to think about and adjust, and the manual is completely overwhelming.

These DSLR Camera Photography cheat sheets are the answer! No more wondering which f-stop is bigger, how to choose an ISO, or what shutter speed will make it sharp. These cards will teach you how to adjust your camera settings, so you can feel confident shooting in any situation.

The cards are pocket-sized and printed on a thick, durable plastic. You can keep them clipped to your bag or purse, so they’re always available to refresh your memory on the go.

All the content comes from Meg Calton, a photographer and educator at Snap Happy Mom. After teaching classes to thousands of moms, Meg created these cards based on common questions and concerns from beginners. This is the reference guide she wished existed when she got her first camera! No fluff, just solid, plain-English explanations and examples to give moms more confidence. And cute to boot. 😉

DSLR CAMERA PHOTOGRAPHY CARDS
– Exposure Triangle & Chart
– Aperture & Depth of Field
– Shutter Speed & Motion Blur
– ISO & Grain
– How To Shoot In Manual Mode
– Troubleshooting
– Light Meter & Histogram
– How To Take Crisp/Sharp Photos
– How to Get Background Blur

These cards teach universal photography concepts that will help you shoot on any DSLR, SLR, or mirrorless camera model. The content is not brand-specific (suitable for Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc) so it does refer to your model specifically. For example, you’ll need to look in your manual to see which dial changes your aperture, but these cards explain WHY you want to change your aperture and how it affects your images.

A must for any new photographer These cards are so helpful. I’ve done photography in the past but it’s been awhile and I’ve forgotten a lot of stuff. So after getting a new camera I wanted a good reference guide for taking better pictures in manual mode and found this gem. Everything is so well organized and easy to understand and quick to access if you’re having trouble in one area. I think the thing I like best about it is the size and portability. (See photo of it next to my canon g7x Mark ii) It’s the perfect size to…

I went through it fast but so far so good Snaphappymom has put this handy info for beginners and for people like me half way in photography it is nice but I think that price wise is a bit too high as I bought a whole book with 100’s of pages for $19.99 so a fare price would me $9.99 just a suggestion but it’s your business . I think if price drops many people will buy it but no matter what you deserve a positive feedback I will be using it . Thank you

Great Handy Reference Since I’m enthusiastic photography hobbyist, I was looking for a small set of laminated “cheat sheet”s that would help me remember all of the tips that I’ve learned about taking great images, especially when I was on the go. These 11 “cheat sheet” cards by snaphappymom.com fit the bill. Not only are they handy, but they had great content, nicely designed (color-coded), and to the point. I’ve taken several hands-on photography courses before, but these cards are great reminders when you’re…
